Purpose:
For undergraduate students in the College of Human Sciences, College of Agriculture, or the College of Business who will complete an international study experience, international student teaching, or international internship in the upcoming spring, summer, or fall semester. Preference is given to those with demonstrated financial need. To demonstrate financial need, be sure to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For priority consideration, send in the FAFSA by February 14. The FAFSA will be made available electronically in late November. Persons not currently receiving student aid should request a federal Personal Identification Number (PIN) at www.pin.ed.gov and complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Eligibility Requirements:
College freshman, sophomore, junior or senior from one of the following counties in Iowa: Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Floyd, Hancock, Mitchell, or Wright. Student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5.

Procedures:
Complete a CHS International Scholarship Application Form form and submit together with supporting documents indicated on the application form. Request your references to complete and submit a CHS International Scholarship Recommendation Form for you.
